Red Flags Designed to Curb ID Thefts
Southern Security has instituted measures to detect, prevent and mitigate identity theft in connection with the opening of certain accounts or existing accounts. By looking for certain “red flags” the measures help us determine whether fraudsters are trying to apply for credit in someone else's name or take over someone else's accounts.
These rules affect new accounts, adding joint owners, address changes, replacement debit or ATM cards, wire transfer requests and more. Please note that this high level of security may mean more questions of you and greater validation from you. We ask you to be patient with these procedures as they are designed to keep someone else from accessing your accounts.
