My CU Bill Pay

Online Bill Pay

Southern Security is proud to offer My CU Bill Pay*. With this secure online bill payment system, you can pay all your bills online. No more checks, stamps or trips to the mailbox!

*Checking account required. Bill Pay cannot be used for payment of taxes, payments ordered by a court or payments to payees outside the United States or its possessions/territories.

Here's how it works. Bill Pay electronically debits your Checking account for the amount you specify to the vendor you specify. You can schedule payments to be debited on a specific day, or you can set up recurring payments (same amount, same pay date) saving you the hassle and frustration of keeping up with all of your bills and due dates. Your payment dates can also be set to coincide with your paydays. This helps to ensure that you will have money in your account at the time you pay your bills!

Once you set up your vendor information (utility, phone, cable company, etc.), you can select up to eight as Express Pays. Express Pay allows you to quickly select who you want to pay, for how much and on what date on one quick and easy page.  This is perfect for those you pay regularly.

My CU Bill Pay is a courtesy service of Southern Security. If, however, members do not process at least one payment every 45 days, this service will be terminated. To re-establish My CU Bill Pay, there is a fee of $10. If at any time a member would like to cancel My CU Bill Pay, simply email mycu@southernsecurity.org or contact any Southern Security location.

Quick Reference

  • My CU Bill Pay is free with unlimited number of payments.
  • Open to any Checking account holder
  • Access to CU Online required.
  • While My CU Bill Pay is free to use, there is a minimum transaction requirement of at least one payment every 45 days to avoid termination.  There is a fee to re-join if Southern Security terminated the service.  However, if you cancel the service, there is no fee to re-start.

Application Process

  • If you have a Checking account complete the application inside CU Online.
  • Log into CU Online, go to Online Services and select Bill Pay.  Complete the application.
  • Southern Security will verify your request and eligible members will be set up within several days (not including weekends).
  • Once set up, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Upon receipt of the confirmation email, log into CU Online, go to Online Services and select Bill Pay.  You’ll be taken directly to My CU Bill Pay.

If you do not have a FREE Southern Security Checking account, you may request an application and send to any location.
