Southern Security is pleased to announce improvements to CU Online

On March 23, Southern Security debuted a new and improved version of CU Online.  Not only does this exciting new home banking platform provide enhanced security, but also a more modern online experience for all members. Members are able to log in to this new version using their existing login ID’s and passwords.

In an effort to provide a more secure environment, members are asked to change their existing passwords upon logging in for the first time.  Going forward, new passwords will require a minimum of 8 characters with at least one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, a number, and a symbol (!,@,#,$). (Here is an example of a password that meets the requirements: Example1!)

Members also have the option to create a unique username to use as a login ID, instead of using the account number for access. This feature is purely optional.

Because CU Online and Mobile Banking share a common password, members will need to be sure to use the new password for both.

This robust online branch allows you to see your current balances plus any transactions that post to your account, view current holds, transfer funds, request a withdrawal check, review history and more.  The home branch is available 24/7 and is real-time.  That is, once the transaction reaches Southern Security FCU, you can see the information immediately.  And if you have multiple accounts (those with different account numbers), you can request that they be linked so you only enter the site once.

Members with a checking account can gain access to My CU Bill Pay.  Account history is available for 12 months.
