Southern Security FCU has integrated with Apple Pay, a new category of service that will transform mobile payments with an easy, secure and private way to pay. Apple Pay combines Apple's seamlessly integrated hardware, software and services to create a unique, incredibly intuitive and elegant experience. This combination keeps payment information protected, so when adding a card with Apple Pay, the actual credit and debit card numbers are not stored on the device, nor on Apple servers, and cashiers won't see names, credit card numbers or card security codes. Apple Pay is easy to set up and users will continue to receive all of the rewards and benefits offered by their credit and debit cards.
Get started in four easy steps:
Step 1: Add your SSFCU Mastercard to iTunes and make sure your address on file matches in both places.
Step 2: Go into Settings on your mobile device, open Passbook & Apple Pay, and select Add Credit or Debit Card.
Step 3: Snap a photo of your card, or simply type the number in manually.
Step 4: Start shopping. Your SSFCU Debit Mastercard is ready to use with Apple Pay!
Make your SSFCU Debit MasterCard your default card!

Passbook & Apple Pay
Tap Default Card to select your SSFCU Debit Mastercard as the default.
Apple pay is accepted at thousands of merchants around the world. Security and privacy is at the core of Apple Pay. When you add a debit card with Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device nor on Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted and securely stored in the Secure Element on your device. Each transaction is authorized with a one-time unique dynamic security code, instead of using the security code from the back of your card. Learn more about Apple Pay.
